Nigeria Exits Paris Club Tomorrow


President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday announced that Nigeria will finally exit its indebtedness to the Paris Club tomorrow. Speaking before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers, State House, Abuja, the President said the approval of NigeriaÂ’s Policy Support Instrument (PSI) by the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Monday, April 17, “means the last stage of our indebtedness to the Paris Club has been cleared.
